Steephill Cove: Hidden beach, perfect for a morning walk that ends in lunch by the cove.
The Crab Shed: A hidden gem that serves the best Pasties I've ever had.
Smoking Lobster: Great seafood with a pacific twist right on the seafront.
The Terrace: A wine-lover's dream with incredible views.
Cantina: A great local spot for a Mediterranean late morning bite.
Ventnor Exchange: Coffee and music – what more do you need?
Amarcord: A very cute little pizza place with tremendous service.

Loves: Relaxing in the sun, cockatils & good food

True Food Kitchen: Simply the best food on the Island IMO.
Tapnell Farm: A great place to wonder around with a curious young one.
Smoking Lobster: Consistently great food.
Drunken Lobster (The Basque Kitchen): A cosy place to pop in for pre-dinner cocktails.
Adgestone Vineyard: Live music, vineyard tours and tasting flights of wine - a great place to spend the afternoon.

Loves: Botanic gardens, galleries & dog walks on the beach.

Mermiad Gin Distillery: My favourite Gin in the whole world!
Crab Shed: A cute spot in steephill cove to grab some lunch and a drink in you fancy.
Shanklin Chine: A great activity for a summer's evening - keep an eye out for the light show and/or Jazz in the chine.
West Wight Alpaca & Llama: One of the first things I did on the Island and have great memories.
Toni's Tea Room: Toni's team room is a great spot for a late breakfast or early lunch right on the seafront.
Masala Bay: My favourite guilty pleasure in the Island is this local no fuss Indian takeaway.
Paddle Boarding in Shanklin: Perfect for a nice sunny day - maybe best at the end of summer when the water is warmer!
Drunken Lobster (The Basque Kitchen): Good food, but even better Sangria.
Crave (Ice Cream Shop): A great place to stop for a treat on your way back to the house.

Loves: Tough hilly walks, a round of golf & a deep bottle of red.

Smoking Lobster: This has to be the best of the bunch for me.
New China House: A really solid Chinese takewaway.
Golf at Shanklin & Sandown Golf Club: If you like golf, book a round in at Shanklin, it's got some amazing tee shots.
Dog walk on Ventnor Beach: At great spot for a norming walk with the dog.
Spyglass Inn: Not the most amazing pub ever - but wow what a location!
Thai Journey: They don't deliver but the food does.

Loves: A peaceful day at home with the family, followed by a few glasses of wine.

True Food Kitchen: I'm with Sophie here - for me it is the best.
The Duck: A bit of a journey to get to but worth it when you're there.
Harvey Browns Farm Shop: A lovely spot to pick up some fresh food or stay and have a quick bite to eat.
Dog walk on Ventnor Beach: Simple but can't beat a walk on the beach on a nice day.
Drunken Lobster (The Basque Kitchen): Love the cocktails in here and always great service.
